The Jojoba Company - Jojoba & Rosehip Oil
Product Review
I have featured a few natural skin products on my blog here and there lately as,
I try them out. I have been using this Jojoba & Rosehip oil from the Jojoba Company for well
over 3 months now and feel I can give you a full review! First things first my bottle is
completely done and is still on my dresser as I try to shake out any little bit of oil I can!
That should tell you everything you need to know, this oil is now my
FAVOURITE face moisturiser.
Jojoba oil is the closest oil to the natural oil our scalp produces, so it can also work as a great
scalp oil. For the face, it is a very gentle oil that eliminates oily skin by tricking the
skin to not overproduce its own oil. It is recommended by acne.org as an alternative to
their specially derived acne moisturiser and a personal choice for me as it’s 100% natural.
Rosehip oil is full of antioxidants and vitamins that work really well to produce smooth
skin & reduce the appearance of scars and stretch marks. This oil mixed with the
Jojoba oil work together to get deeper into the skin.
I really enjoyed using the mix of both oils
compared to the general Jojoba oil as it makes it much lighter and nicer to apply to the skin.
The packaging is sleek & pretty! It has an applicator which is perfect as it allows you to
pop a little bit of the product at a time onto your palms (or you can drop directly
onto your T Zone) and smooth in the skin.
Lately I have been suffering with blemishes
and blocked pores, so I have been paying special attention to my skincare routine.
Out of the other face creams I have tried I find that this one feels not too heavy on the skin
and keeps it moisturised throughout the night and day! It can also be used as a primer but be
careful if your foundation is oil based as it’s probably not the best combo for an all day
makeup look.
It soaks into the skin within half and hour when applied generously, I try not to touch my face to much so I usually dab a lot of the oil on and leave it to absorb by itself.
I would highly recommend this oil as a facial moisturiser to others and I will continue to use it as my staple face moisturiser instead of a heavier cream product.
